📢 Public Meeting Notice – Ninigret Restoration Advisory Board (RAB)

Residents are invited to attend the upcoming Ninigret Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) Meeting on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Kimball Pavilion, Ninigret Park, 5 Park Lane
Charlestown, Rhode Island.

This in-person meeting, hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District will provide an overview of the former Charlestown Naval Auxiliary Landing Field (CNALF) remediation project and ongoing restoration efforts. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear updates from project representatives, meet Restoration Advisory Board members, and participate in an open question-and-answer session.

Meeting Agenda Highlights:

• Welcome and introductions
• Introduction of Restoration Advisory Board members
• Overview of the CNALF remediation project
• Public question-and-answer period
• Informal follow-up discussions and poster session

The Restoration Advisory Board serves as a forum for communication between the community, government agencies, and project stakeholders regarding environmental restoration activities.

We encourage all interested residents, community members, and stakeholders to attend, learn more about the project, and share their questions and feedback.
