High Fire Danger and Outdoor Burn Ban in Effect for the Town of Charlestown

 

Due to elevated fire risk, the Town of Charlestown has issued an Outdoor Burn Ban until further notice.

Residents are urged to take these precautions:

 

 

Avoid outdoor burning: No bonfires, fire pits, or yard waste burning

 

Avoid spark-producing activities: Be mindful with tools like chainsaws, welding equipment, or anything that could create a spark

 

Dispose of ignition sources carefully: Cigarettes, matches, and anything flammable should be fully extinguished and properly thrown away
