Highlights from Saturday’s Gathering at Pond Shore Association Marina

Town Administrator Jeff Allen joined the Town’s GIS Specialist and Coastal Geologist, Steve McCandless to meet with local homeowners and talk all things breachway. They covered its history before and after Superstorm Sandy, the temporary repair of the west wall, its current condition, and what’s ahead with the work planned for October.

 

As always, Steve brought his A-game. He came prepared with visuals and delivering a clear, insightful presentation. Homeowners were grateful for the update and remarked how lucky we are to have someone with Steve’s deep knowledge of the breachway and the pond.
