The Town of Charlestown will hold a Special Election to fill the vacant Town Council seat.

 

• Declarations of Candidacy are available at the Town Clerk’s Office (4540 South County Trail, Charlestown, RI 02813) and online at www.charlestownri.gov

• Filing Period: Declarations will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s Office on:

o Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

o Friday, September 26, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

If required, a Primary Election will be held on November 4, 2025.

The Special Election will take place on December 2, 2025.
