2025-2026 Ninigret Pond Maintence Dredging
When:
The Town of Charlestown is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction services for maintenance dredging in Ninigret Pond, in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) and the Town’s General Condition of Purchase. Sealed proposals must be received at the Charlestown Town Clerk’s Office or emailed to Dredge2526_RFP@charlestownri.gov no later than 3:00 PM, September 10, 2025, at which time they will be opened publicly in the Town Council Chambers. Envelopes shall be marked in the lower left-hand corner “2025-2026 NINIGRET POND MAINTENANCE DREDGING”, email submissions must be titled in subject line “2025-2026 NINIGRET POND MAINTENANCE DREDGING”.
Detailed specifications may be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office during the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday or on the Town website at https://charlestownri.gov/townbids
Submit any questions regarding this RFP in writing to Dredge2526_RFP@charlestownri.gov by September 2, 2025. Questions and answers to all written questions received by September 2, 2025, will be posted on the Town Website by September 4, 2025, at https://charlestownri.gov/townbids
The initial contract period will begin approximately October 1, 2025, through February 26, 2026.
This is a Request for Proposals, not a Request for Quotes. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of the relative merits of the proposal, in addition to cost.
