The Town of Charlestown is presently accepting bids for the pick- up and hauling of 30–50-yard roll-off containers for Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026).  Sealed bids must be received no later than 3:00 PM, MARCH 17, 2025 at the Town Clerk’s Office, 4540 South County Trail, Charlestown, RI.  02813.  All bids shall be clearly marked “ROLL-OFF HAULING” in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope.  Questions regarding the specifications should be directed to Alan Arsenault, Director of Public Works, by calling (401) 364-1230.  The bid award shall be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated responsive bid.  An evaluation will be made on the basis of cost, additional projected costs for service, if any, performance, and historical business relationship with the Town.  The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept that bid which it deems in its sole judgment to be in the best interest of the Town.
