There are only two public boat ramps that do not charge a launching fee available to launch and retrieve your boat. The state boat ramp at the Charelstown Breachway, and the state boat ramp at Quonchontaug Breachway. There are three commercial marinas located on Ninigret Pond; Ocean House Marina, Ninigret Landing Marina, and Shelter Cove Marina are available the the public to launch a boat, however a launching fee may apply.
 
For all smaller non-motorized vessels, you also have available boat launches at Ninigret Park, the end of Town Dock Road, and on Charlestown Beach Road at the Charlestown Beach parking Lot. These locations are not suitable for motorized vessel use.
