I hold a Private Recreational Mooring Permit. If I sell my vessel, or my vessel is down for repairs, how long do I have before I need to obtain another vessel or make repairs without loosing my mooring permit?
Anytime a vessel is sold, or down for repairs, a grace period will be given to allow for ample time to purchase another vessel, or make the necessary repairs. However, at the time of mooring permit renewals for the following year, if you do not have a vessel, or plan on keeping a vessel on you mooring, you will not be allowed to renew you mooring permit unless you can show that you have a vessel to assign to the mooring permit. You are required to notify the Harbormaster anytime this is the case, and if a different vessel is to be assigned to the mooring permit.
